Kansas Captures Big 12 Tournament, Locks Up One Seed

The Kansas Jayhawks seemingly locked up a one seed today by defeating the Texas Longhorns in the Big 12 Tournament Championship Game, 85-73. Kansas is now 4-0 in Big 12 championship games while the Longhorns fall to an 0-6 mark in such games.
The Jayhawks were led by a balanced effort offensively, with six guys in double figures in points. They were also very strong at crashing the boards and outrebounded the 'Horns by eight, as well as shooting much better (56.9% to 40.9%).
Bill Self's squad left the Spring Center in KC feeling confident about getting a top seed in this year's tournament while Rick Barnes' Longhorns will be a 3 or 4.
