You know Brodie Croyle has never won a start in his NFL career. He is a nice 0-10 as a starter and proved how awful he is last week as his team got crushed by San Diego 31-0. Brett Favre Inactive Tonight, Consecutive Start Streak Ends

For the first time September of 1992, Brett Favre will not be starting a game as he is inactive for tonight's game against the Giants in Detroit. He has started an NFL record 297 consecutive games, 321 including playoff contests. Favre will not start due to the injured shoulder he suffered in the first quarter last week against the Buffalo Bills. This is obviously the beginning of the end of his illustrious career.

Miami Hurricanes Hire Al Golden

ESPN has reported that Al Golden has been offered and accepted the head coaching position at the University of Miami. Golden was previously the head coach at Temple University where he had a 27-34 record but has turned the Owls from a downtrodden program to a proven winner in the MAC, winning 17 games the last two years in Philadelphia. The deal is believed to be a four-year contract for $2 million per season.

Metrodome Roof Has Collapsed, With Video

We all know of the New York Giants' struggle to get to Minneapolis and getting stuck in Kansas City overnight. And the game was rescheduled to Monday night on the FOX stations in New York and thw Twin Cities, as well as on DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket. Now we do not know where the game will be played due to the collapse of the air-supported roof of the Metrodome as seen above due to the heavy snow.  The game will be played at Ford Field in Detroit at 7:20 EST on Monday night.
One thing to note, if the game had been played today Brett Favre would not have played.
