Spygate Part 2?
News has broke today that the Denver Broncos and Josh McDaniels have been fined $50,000 because the team's video operations director broke league rules by filming a San Francisco 49ers practice in London last month. What exactly happened and what does this all mean? Will McDaniels lose his job?

Boise State Loses To Nevada 34-31 In Overtime, National Title Dreams Shattered
With one kick in overtime by Nevada kicker Anthony Martinez, Boise State's BCS dreams were smashed by the Wolfpack, who recovered from a 17 point halftime deficit to defeat the previously undefeated Broncos 31-31 in overtime. Boise had their chances to win but kicker Kyle Brotzman missed a 26 yard field goal at the end of regulation and a 29 yarder in overtime that gave Nevada the opening to shock the nation. See how it all went down in Reno, Nevada.

Black Eyed Peas To Perform During Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show
The NFL has announced that (in the words of Mike Florio) the Super Bowl XLV halftime act will be "the glorified karaoke entourage otherwise known as the Black Eyed Peas" as was announced during the Cowboys-Saints game on FOX, which will air the Super Bowl on February 6th of the new year. Their announcement was similar to last year when CBS announced The Who would be the halftime show during Super Bowl XLIV.
FOX Sports Chairman David Hill had said that there would no fogies during this halftime show and the Black Eyed Peas certainly fit the mold. But Hill also said he wants a country star to perform since "it's kick-ass country down in Texas." That would have not been a bad choice as there are many fine country stars that actually have talent. But the Black Eyed Peas are atrocious and are a terrible choice.
I'm disappointed in FOX Sports and the NFL for this lackluster decision. Yes the old guys were old and shells of themselves (except for Springsteen who was awesome) but they at least had talent (even though Prince sucked). But was Dave Matthews or Elton John or Billy Joel or Eric Clapton or Van Halen booked?
Should The Lions Continue To Play On Thanksgiving?
There is no doubt the Detroit Lions have been awful the last decade or so. And of course people have been saying that they should not play on Turkey Day anymore. But you know what, they should continue to be playing on Thanksgiving as long as football continues to play on Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving Classic: Jets Defeat Bengals 26-10
It was not pretty, but the New York Jets were able to hold off the Cincinnati Bengals 26-10, thanks to Brad Smith who was electrifying in the nightcap of the 2010 Thanksgiving Classic with a 53 yard touchdown run and an 89 yard kickoff return touchdown return without a cleat. Click here to see all the highlights and click here to see an interview with Brad Smith as well as Darrelle Revis, who surprisingly shut down Terrell Owens. Plus see what the always entertaining Rex Ryan had to say about his club's victory.

Don't Like Matt Millen & Joe Theismann? Just Tune In On Saturday Night
It's is safe to say that Thursday Night Football analysts Matt Millen and Joe Theismann have been awful thus far. I'm surprised and not surprised at that outcome because Theismann is awful but Millen used to be very good. Anyways, fans of the Jets and Bengals get to listen to that awful crew on Thanksgiving but luckily NFL Network will re-air that game with no announcers on Saturday. NFL Network did that last year and we all remembered when NBC tried one and failed miserable back in the '80's. The telecast will use the audio of players and coaches instead of the bumbling fooligans in the broadcast booth.
Josh Hamilton Wins AL MVP Award
One of the great comeback stories of all time, Josh Hamilton has overcome eight trips to rehab for alcohol and drug abuse in the past to easily become the American League Most Valuable Player. Hamilton led the majors in batting average at .359 and slugging percentage at .633 while hitting 32 homers and and batting in 100 runs despite missing most of September with broken ribs. He also led the Rangers to their first World Series appearance, which saw them fall to the San Francisco Giants.
“I would say a 99 percent chance that this would never happen,” Hamilton said, chuckling. “I mean, honestly, I think a lot of people would agree with that.”

Steve Johnson's Why So Serious? Celebration Loved By Gus Johnson
During one of Bills receiver Steve Johnson's touchdown receptions during his breakout game, he pulled up his jersey and showed a shit with Why So Serious? written on it. It was pretty hilarious, you had to see it. And it's safe to say that Gus Johnson liked it.
On a day where curmudgeon broadcasters came to life on the Tiffany Network, it is nice to see someone with a great sense of humor. Kudos Gus, kudos.

And in one unbelievable play, he shows off some ridiculous elevation when he destroys the legendary Timofey Mosgov. Let's go to the videotape.
And just for kicks, here is another Griffin demolition against the Knicks, this time against Danilo Gallinari.
Truly great defense from the Knicks, right?
